Ms. Deepika Othuluru

Ms. Deepika 

Founder & Executive Director

Deepika is the Founder and Executive Director of Stellar Montessori Academy, where she combines her passion for early childhood education with a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and holistic development. After a successful 19-year career in the IT industry, Deepika transitioned to Montessori education, inspired by its child-centered approach and transformative impact on lifelong learning.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and earned her Montessori teaching credentials in 2015. Deepika is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education from Loyola University Maryland, focusing on Montessori education, diversity, and inclusion.

As a leader and educator, Deepika is dedicated to creating thoughtful, enriching learning environments that honor each child’s individuality and potential. She currently oversees both the Bellevue and Marysville campuses of Stellar Montessori Academy and plays an active role in curriculum design, teacher mentorship, and family engagement.

Ms. Maura 

Campus Director, Stellar Montessori Academy – Marysville

Ms. Maura brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership to her role as Campus Director at Stellar Montessori Academy’s Marysville campus. With a strong foundation in early childhood education, and a deep passion for creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments, she is dedicated to supporting both children and educators in their journey of growth and discovery. Ms. Maura is passionate about theater and STEAM learning, often weaving the arts and sciences into early childhood experiences to spark imagination, creativity, and critical thinking. She is also a strong proponent of outdoor classrooms and advocates for the resurgence of teaching natural history, believing that meaningful connections with nature are essential for a child’s development.

Prior to joining Stellar, Ms. Maura held leadership roles in respected educational organizations where she guided teams, strengthened family partnerships, and fostered school communities grounded in respect, curiosity, and care. She believes in empowering teachers and families through transparent communication, thoughtful planning, and a shared vision of holistic child development. Ms. Marlin is committed to building a thriving Montessori community in Marysville—one that reflects the values of equity, independence, and joyful learning.

Ms. Kaylie

Early Childhood Classroom Teacher, Stellar Montessori Academy – Marysville

I’m Ms. Kaylie, the teacher in the Innovators Classroom at the Marysville campus. I’m a trained Montessori educator through the ORR Montessori Teachers Training Academy (ORRMTTA), and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Washington University with a specialization in General Science.

I’m especially passionate about introducing young children to STEAM concepts and helping them explore the world through a scientific lens. I love creating hands-on, engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy crafting, kayaking, and spending quiet time with my cat.

Dhana

Ms. Dhana 

Early Childhood Classroom Teacher, Stellar Montessori Academy – Marysville

I’m Ms. Dhana, an early childhood classroom teacher Innovators Classroom at the Marysville campus. I’m a trained Montessori educator through the ORR Montessori Teachers Training Academy (ORRMTTA), and I bring a unique blend of scientific curiosity and nurturing care to my classroom.

Before entering the world of Montessori education, I earned a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and worked as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. My transition into early childhood education was driven by a deep passion for supporting children’s growth and development, and I’m proud to play a role in shaping their foundational years.

In the classroom, I create joyful, hands-on learning experiences that blend academics with art, craft, and nature-based exploration. I follow Montessori principles to foster independence, normalize the classroom environment, and encourage natural learning through play and discovery.

Outside of school, I love spending time in nature, hiking scenic trails, and relaxing with music.
